Designed from the ground up for street rods with custom spindles and control arms, the Heidts Superide IFS provides improved looks and ride quality over the Mustang II units. It is an excellent choice for your early fenderless or full-fendered street rod with coil-over shocks, narrowed control arms, and polished Wilwood calipers standard. The custom spindles yield the right hot rod stance. Rear-mount manual rack and pinion steering is standard, and a needed design feature for many early hot rods. An excellent performing IFS for a wide variety of street rods, but best suited for pre-'35 street rods.

Our team has been building street rod chassis for decades and knows what works and what doesn’t. We know that not everyone drives a Chevy or Ford, and we have successfully retro-fitted Superide front-ends into cars that didn't have specific kits available. With a short conversation and a few measurements we can determine what is a close fit that will minimize the fabrication needed upon installation. Having used nearly every commercially available suspension part out there, we are very confident in recommending this system. Heidt’s Superide kits come complete with:

Custom crossmember for your car or truck
Tubular steel upper and lower full A-frame style control arms
11” five lug rotors, bearings and seals. 5 x 4.5", 5 x 4.75" or 5 x 5" bolt pattern.
Coil-over shocks with chrome springs
Wilwood polished calipers with brackets and pads
Custom drop spindles
Rear-mount manual rack and pinion with tie rod ends and bushings
All mounting hardware
